Create Your Own Cosmetic Line

Make your mark with your own cosmetics!!!

Bobbi Brown, Kevin Aucoin, Debra Macki, Mally Roncal, Laura Mercier, Francois Nars.
What do these people have in common? Well, they're all makeup artists and they've all got their own makeup lines.

Have you ever walked into Sephora and thought to yourself "I'd like to see my own makeup line on these shelves!"? Have you ever wanted to see other people use products with your name on them to create their masterpieces?

Well, although it takes a real desire to bring those dreams to fruition, it also takes a manufacturing company to create the cosmetics the way you want them. I can only provide you with options for the latter. The former has to be right from your heart.

So, in your search for the perfect manufacturing company be sure that you've taken the time to research each place, and take notes for yourself to refer back to. One wrong move and that's your career and your name on the line. Be sure that you always have the rights to your name and that only the formulations that you have approved (and no others) will be used etc..

While I'll leave you to do your own homework on what to ask, what to expect etc, I will hook you up with some names for manufacturing companies you can look into.

  1. GAR laboratories INC. (www.GARLABS.COM)
  2. Royal Labs (
  3. Ecometrics (
  4. Health Specialty (
  5. Lady Burd (
  6. Essential Labs (
  7. Classic Cosmetics (
  8. Cosmetic Lab (
  9. Rain Shadow Labs (

These are just a few to get you started in your search. There are many more out there, so if you're serious...Get Started!! Seriously... what are you waiting for?? LOL.. GET ON IT!!

Another thing you guys could look into is a book called "Beginning Cosmetic Chemistry" by Randy Schueller and Perry Romanowski. This is the third edition of this text book and covers all the important aspects of the cosmetic industry. They also make a work book by the same name that can help you learn all you need to learn so you're line can be successful.

Where can you find this? Here ya go..:) Go to and pick up your cosmetic chemistry book and workbook.
